A fun fact about the original Kirby Air Ride is that Meta Knight was a playable character classified as one of the Air-ride machines. However rather than being rideable he simply flew about on his own.
This is because if they gave players the opportunity to ride Meta Knight, the world's population would have doubled. :^)
