a custodian at work gave me a cupcake. i was out of the office both times he came to see me, and he shouted with relief when i showed up the second time. i was also invited to visit with another coworker, and had a really great chat about colonialism with another. then a coworker i worry might not like me complimented the rubber duck on my office. today's been good! and on top of that, my roommate accepted that i and my partner are moving out. yay!
